We offer a variety of opportunities for members to engage, build relationships, and explore. As a self-directed collaborative, we invite each member to engage in a way they see fit. Participation is not required for any offerings, rather we encourage members to share their voices and interests in our planning meetings.
It is through our members sharing their diverse and unique interests that we all grow and learn together!
Wildlings
The heart of our program, and where it all started, Wildlings meet each Wednesday morning to explore nature, share ideas, build relationships, and foster a sense of community and growth.
We meet in all weather and foster the idea of embracing the change and challenges that come.
Moon club
Moon club meets about an hour before sunset on the evenings of the full moon. We come together to discuss astrology, moon cycles, and the cultural significance of the full moon. We then embark on a moon lit hike as we explore how nature changes at night.
Book club
We explore a wide range of genres, from graphic novels that keep us chuckling to the historical tales that transport us back in time. Each chosen by our members. We believe in the power of stories to illuminate minds and hearts, and we aim to cater to diverse interests and age groups within our homeschooling community.
Book club includes a lively discussion, engaging activities, and creative projects inspired by our readings. We’re turning the page together on this exciting journey!
KOALAs
Our Kindness, Outreach, and Leadership Association, K.O.A.L.A.s addresses the unique social learning of Middle Schoolers while also exploring Outreach and Leadership skills. (Age 11-14)
FOXES
F.O.X.E.S, which stands for Friends Offering shared eXperiences and Strategies, meets weekly to together explore teambuilding, leadership, and emotional learning, and strategies for overcoming challenges. (Age 5-10)
Electives
This space is left to our members imaginations. Economy, Greek Mythology, and Cooking Lessons are a few of the topics we’ve explored recently.
If you want to learn about it, and take some friends along with you, we will do our best to make it happen!
Ecological Science Club
As a nature based collaborative, it is important that we learn to respect, protect, and appreciate the world around us. From creek studies to dissections, we engage in hands on activities designed to spark questions and deeper exploration.
